Near visual acuity, also known as near vision is a measure of how well a person can see fine detail. It is a measure of the clariyt or clearness of vision close up. This webinar will investigate how testing is implemented for adults and children, the types of clinical assessments and the imapct that these assessment have of the reading and writing mediums that people will access as well as devices that can be used to assist them.

Sue has over 20 years experience as a paediatric orthoptist and in an academic role. She has taught widely in the areas of paediatric eye disease and vision surveillance and vision screening. She is currently the chief investigator on the project which is developing and implementing the Australian Childhood Vision Impairment Register.
