Course Information

In this three day workshop participants will engage in interactive and fun activities to learn how to communicate using Auslan. Students will learn fingerspelling, counting, how to greet and introduce yourself, ask simple questions and be able to explain effective ways of communicating with deaf people.

Please note that tea, coffee and morning tea will be served each day and participants will need to bring their own lunch.

Completing Auslan 1 - An introduction will contribute 21 hours  of NESA Registered PD addressing 3.5.2, 4.1.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
