The session plan is the blueprint of an Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT) session that shows what goals will be targeted and how it will be achieved.

Inge Kaltenbrunn is the Best Practice Lead: Early Learning (Deaf/Hard of Hearing Children) at the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children in Sydney, Australia. She is a qualified speech pathologist, audiologist and LSLS Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of hearing loss and cochlear implants. She has worked in early intervention programs for children with hearing loss as well as cochlear implant clinics in South Africa and Australia. She has significant experience in delivering family centered early intervention, cochlear implant (re)habilitation, program development, mentoring and professional training in the area of paediatric hearing loss. She currently develops evidence-based, best practice early intervention service delivery models for children with hearing loss at RIDBC.
