Dr Bronwen Scott
Bronwen has worked as an Orientation & Mobility (O&M) specialist for 30 years. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology, Graduate Diploma of Orientation and Mobility, Master of Education (Special Education), and a Doctor of Education. Her doctoral thesis explores the introduction of O&M skills within the early childhood context. Bronwen has worked for a range of blindness agencies in Western Australia, NSW, Victoria and the UK, as well as 6 years working as a Visiting Teacher/O&M specialist for the Vision Education Service in the Department of Education Western Australia. She is currently based in Melbourne and is passionate about the role of O&M in developing the potential of individuals who are blind or have low vision.
