In this session, Dr. Wolffe will describe the importance and need for structured social skills learning for children and youth who are blind or partially sighted. Socialization is a key element in an individual’s physical and mental health.
This two day course is delivered through a mixed mode of delivery. It includes two days face to face, in between session course work and viewing some webinars.
This course is intended to provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to assist in supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in the learning environment. This course is split across two separate dates: Day 1 – Wednesday 1 April, and Day 2 – Wednesday 10 June.
